Blackbean Sauce

Today, I tried out black bean sauce recipe which is published from Thermomix Malaysia cookbook. Here is the result:

I used it to steam fish. It taste good. However, I prefer sauce that is thicker and less sweet and I will tweak the recipe next time when I make it. Here is going to be the refined recipe:

Ingredients

  • 50g garlic
  • 10g ginger
  • 30g dried black bean
  • 50g cooking oil
  • 30g sugar
  • 70g light soy bean sauce
  • 50g water

 

Instructions

Cover Time Temp°C Speed
1) Place garlic, ginger & black bean into TM bowl to blend  Yes 4 sec 0-6
2) Add oil to saute  Yes 2 mins 100c 1
3) Add sugar, light soy bean sauce and water through TM lid. (MC in incline position). In the last 2 mins,  Add a bit of corn flour mixed with water to thicken the sauce.  Yes  10 min  100c  1
