Braised Pork Ribs With Thermomix

This is one of my favorite pork dishes which is very easy dish to make with great taste.   Try this out and let me know what you think, ok?


2 spring onions chopped to 2 cm
500gm of pork short ribs marinated with mixture of Oyster Sauce, Light Soy (almost equal portions of 30mL)
Powdered Raw Sugar (40g)
Shaoxing Chinese Cooking Wine (25mL)
25mL cooking oil


Cover Time Temp°C Speed
1)  Marinate the pork with soy sauce and oyster sauce for at least 30 mins in the refrigerator. 30 mins
2)  Add cooking oil and powdered sugar. Yes 3 mins Varoma Speed 1
3) Add meat and spring onions. Yes 6 mins Varoma Stir (Reverse)
4) Add cooking wine, sauces. Yes 22 mins Varoma Stir (Reverse)

The portion can serve about 3-4 persons. Adjust the quantity if you like to cook for larger portion. If you cook a large batch of ribs, store some in the freezer. Every time when you don’t have a main dish for dinner, or want something yummy to go with healthy rice, or need to fill up a lunch box, pull some ribs out of freezer, heat it up and here you go!
