Garlic Prawn

Prawn is one of my favorite seafood. As the age increases, I have to reduce the consumption of prawn to avoid high cholesterol.  But today I decided to cook small quantity of prawn when I saw some nice and fresh prawns offered by Aeon supermarket.

To make it healthier to consume, I decided to use my Air Fryer to fry it. As you know, by using air fryer, I do not need large quantity of oil to fry it. I just drizzled some oil onto the prawn and marinate it with other ingredients. The result? Superb! The meal is served in less than 15 mins!

  • 6 – 10 pieces of medium sized prawns ( i prefer using smaller prawns than Tiger prawns)
  • 2 – 3 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • A pinch of Sea Salt
  • A pinch of Fine Pepper
  • A pinch of Black Pepper
  • A pinch of Dried Basil Leaves (Optional)
  • A pinch of Dried thyme leaves (Optional)
  • A pinch of Dried oregano leaves (Optional)

Marinate the prawns with the above ingredients. Coat and mix well, rest in fridge for at least an hour. Ready for air frying!

Place prawns on Buffalo Smart Air Fryer accessories, Baking Pan.

Select Bake at 180 degree for 10 minutes. (increase time to 12 minutes if you are using bigger prawns)

At 8 mins, flip the prawns to the other side.

Ready to serve! This dish is fragrant and flavourful though with minimal seasoning.
