Barbecue Chicken Wings with Buffalo Air Fryer

My dad used to buy barbecue chicken wings from night hawker stall for me when I was young. Nowadays, barbecue chicken wings can be easily prepared by using air fryer at home anytime when we yearn to have barbecue chicken wings!

It is very easy to prepare barbecue chicken wings with my Buffalo Air Fryer. It is also healthier to consume as I do not need to use a lot of oil to fry it.

INGREDIENTS:

12 pieces of chicken wings

Ingredients A:

1 tablespoon sesame oil

4 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons dark soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 teaspoon of ground black pepper

1 teaspoon brown sugar

Some parsley flakes (optional)

Ingredients B:

5 cloves of garlic

4 shallots

2 stalks lemongrass

1 onion

1 small piece of turmeric (kunyit)

METHOD:

Blend Ingredients B using Thermomix or food processor.

Blend Ingredients B with Thermomix

 

Marinate chicken wings with ingredients A and ingredients B. (Sprinkle some herbs such as dried parsley flakes on top of the marinated chicken) – optional

Cover the marinated chicken wings and stored in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Bring the marinated chicken wings to room temperature.  Place chicken wings in baking cage and then place the cage into Buffalo Air Fryer.

Barbecue Chicken Wings in Buffalo Air Fryer

Bake chicken wings in preheated air fryer of 230°C (446°F) for 25 minutes. Press ‘Roll’ to allow the cage to be turning and equal hot air circulation.
