Less Sugar Super Moist Chocolate Cupcakes Thermomix Recipe

This recipe is adapted from Gamma Kilgour. I reduced the sugar and used brown sugar to make it less sweet to make this cupcake healthier and guilt free! This cupcake is super moist that melts in your mouth.  I think it is worth making and will surely make this again for my kids!


  • 185 grams butter
  • 110 grams brown sugar (This is less sweet version, you can add another 5 to 10 grams if you like it to be sweeter)
  • 2 tablespoon Hearsey chocolate syrup
  • 250 grams milk
  • 60 grams cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 185 grams plain flour



1. Melt butter, sugar, hearsey syrup and milk for 4 minutes, 70 degrees, speed 1 until all butter is melted.

2. Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda and combine on Speed 5 for 5 seconds. Scrape down edge and repeat if necessary

3. Preheat oven. Pour into cupcake cups. Bake at for about 16 minutes at 160 degrees.
