- 600g chicken thigh (deboned cut into pieces seasoned with some dark soy sauce, sugar and pepper)
- 100g fried mushrooms soaked for half an hour
- 100g black fungus soaked for half a hour
- 10g cooking oil
- 40g sliced ginger
- 20g garlic sliced
10g oyster sauce
10g light soy sauce
10g thick soy sauce
1 tsp (5g) sesame oil
A little sugar
A little salt
A little pepper
1.5 tsp corn flour and 0.5 tbsp water as corn flour for thickening.
Add oil into TM bowl to saute garlic and ginger Time: 2 mins/ Temp: V/ Speed 1
Add chicken, mushrooms, fungus and sauces to cook @ Time: 15 mins/ Temp: V/ Speed: Reversed Stir.
Thicken the gravy with corn flour solution in the last 30 seconds of cooking. Serve hot with rice
You can use Thermomix to chop the garlic. Just wash few gloves of garlic then place them into the mixing bowl. Chop @ Time: 5 sec, Speed 5. When done remove the skin from the bowl.
